just a question
What can i do if i have a high metabolisim and want to put on weight. I have tried and tried and even going to the gym i do not put on weight. i end up looking like a really skinny in shape guy. I just wanna put on about 15 lbs or so and i cannot seem to figure out how to do it. thanks

simple....stop starving yourself or doing portion control. you want to snack? dont eat low-fat snacks, eat a ton of peanuts or cheese and crackers.
go out during the week, enjoy a pizza or a grease ball burger, its not going to kill you. have a few beers too. live a little.
allow yourself to enjoy eating more often and anyone can gain some weight in no time.
take a fucking break from the cardio. sit on your ass, get a PS3 or xbox360 and sit there for an entire week everyday after work and do nothing but play a fun game. its ok to be lazy sometimes.

skip breakfast. it boosts your metabolism for the day,if u skip breakfast and wait like 2 hours after u wake up itll do less for boosting your metabolism during the day. and if ur not trying to get jacked,stop doing things to burn calories. if u burn more calories in the day than u eat and are at 0 calories by bedtime your going to lose weight.
try BSN TRUE MASS or something similar..its going to give u lots of protein and calories and carbs,and if ur not hitting the gyms for hours a day,it will turn into fat. (if thats your goal)
if ur trying to gain muscle,then protein and carbs are still your friend,but u have to throw in good muscle building exercises. and work out monday thru friday, to see real results you MUST be strict. some people throw in cheat days where they do whatever they want,but if you want real results you will not cheat for at least your first 12 weeks.
and absolutely NO cardio,your going to burn calories hitting the weights anyways. and in your situation,doing cardio will only make you lose muscle because your body has no fat to eat anymore.
pre work out carb/protien is important and protein post work out is very important.
creatine will also make you keep your water weight as well as help you gain stength and stamina while working out.

in college i managed to put on 45 lbs in 2 months from eating about 7000 calories a day and going to the gym 2x a day. i am now back to weighing less than i did in hig.h school.
some people are just not meant to put on weight
