Unhappy Bike and 2005 TL

Sure wish the back seat folded down. The only way I can get my bike in the trunk is to take both wheels off the bike...pain in the.....anyway, anyone have suggestions? I REALLY don't want to put a bike rack on my beautiful 2005 ABP TL.

Get a trunk-mounted rack.

Relatively easy to mount and unmount as you please.

^^^Wouldn't use a trunk-mounted rack -- they tend to dent the trunk at the mounting points. I've got a Thule rack. No marks, no scratches. Yes, it doesn't look good, but I take it on and off when I have my bikes mounted.

install a lightweight hidden hitch, and use a hitch mounted bike carrier for when you need. and when you don't, you remove it from the receiver and you'll never notice it's there.
