Any other smoothie drinkers?

My lunch today. Strawberry/Spinach smoothie. It's actually really freaking good! (Even though it looks like barf.)

Recipe:
1 serving Yoplait Strawberry Greek Yogurt
1 extra ripe banana
1/4 cup OJ
5 frozen strawberries
Large handful of spinach (probably roughly 1 cup)

Blend until smooth!
I like my smoothies thick, so instead of adding ice, I just use frozen fruit.

Anyone else have a recipe they'd like to share?

I love smoothies (strawberry/banana ftmfw) but there is is a problem either whether you make it yourself or by it from a place Smoothie King for example.

At home, shit, a lot of work to put all the stuff in the blender to mix it and then to clean it. That is good IF the it doesn't leak. (I know, I'm probably lazy)

Buying it somewhere, that shit is expensive, at least here. I could buy a jimmy johns sub chips and drink for the same price. (btw when they ask for a shot of protein or Vitamin C or that bermuda grass or whatever it is or a shot of H4L^49(o) is it really worth it? Seems like each addition is at least $1 each.

Keep it simple

Also like pineapple/strawberry or most other combos with an occasional vegetable thrown in.

1 banana
4-5 strawberries
10-15 blueberries
a cup of strawberry, blueberry, or plain Lifeway Kefir or Helios Vanilla Kefir when I can find it
And two Tablespoons of ground flax seed

Thats what I have for breakfast every morning, along with a protein shake and a cup of raw pecans or almonds. I've added the protein to it before but it makes it too thick or grainy. Sometimes I'll sub the banana for a fresh florida orange(peeled).

I blend all this stuff in those little blender bullets so I just blend and go. Clean the cup when when I get to work

Nice recipe. I'm sure its yummy. If you wana make it a little healthier use fresh oranges or frsesh squeezed orange juice. That way you dont have to use the pasteurized stuff. And with yogurt look for ones that have probiotics that have been cultured longer than 10 hours. Helps alot

My smoothie is:
.75cup frozen berries
.25cup frozen mango
.25cup vanilla frozen yogurt
1 scoop vanilla whey
1 tsp greenfood (dried wheatgrass)
4 ice cubes
8oz water

I used to add juice but the sugars was too high. With the juice I was hitting my sugar macros with just my smoothie. The frozen yogurt I used is organic from a local farm so it isn't bad with sugar.

The office bought a blendtec and that thing rocks!!! I will never buy a cheap blender.

I keep it simple (and still very delicious!):

1.5c skim milk
1c frozen triple-berry mix (strawberry/blueberry/blackberry)
70g vanilla ice cream protein powder
1 Tbsp organic almond butter.

Makes a good-sized shake with almost 60g protein and enough carbs that my morning workout (30 minutes after this shake) is really effective. I wouldn't drink this after about noon due to my carb timing, however.
