What did you do to your CL today?

took the cl in for some repairs.
new header and downtube with new O2 sensor installed.
New passenger front wheel bearing, and then new caliper because a bolt in it was siezed.
wheel bearing and caliper seem good.
but the downtube angle is fucked, hangs an inch or 2 lower than stock, and with my ride height, this is not good. i will take a picture soon, so you can all see it before a bump or dip on the highway destroys it all

Unfortunately, no photo shoot this time. Due to the circumstances, there wasn't much free time on this visit. We'll put one together on the next trip for sure.

Routine 6k mile oil change today. It's been a while since I've seen the underside of the car. The header is taking a beating. Not as bad as the one on my Civic, but still... ouch.

my exhaust just got bent to match the frame rail eventually, so you can judge from that how much more your exhaust is going to get fucked.
and then your frame rail just slowly gets shaved away, and exhaust gets bent more

take a pic of the frame rail part right next to the exhaust next time, then i will take a pic of mine next time it's in the air, so you can expect what to see in a year or so, lol

took the cl to the tire shop
got the tires flipped, side to side, due to the little bit of camber wear i had on them.
just thought might aswell do it now before next summer.
and watched from the other room through the glass windows as the employee first struggled to jack the car up, took around 10 mins, and he had to call another guy to help him out.
then watched as they tried to drive it off the lift, took 10-15 minutes, and 4 employees
atleast they cared...but they knew i was watching anyways
oh and the one guy told me, next time you take your car to a shop, that i should tell them my car is lowered... if the sales guy didn't notice when he greeted me in the parking lot, when the one guy went to unlock it, and when the other person went to drive it (and probably fell into the seat like most people do the first time they get in my car)... i don't see how me telling them once is going to make that much of a difference

Nice Mitch.
I walked by my car today, and thought about how much of a money pit it is... It needs a whole host of things fixed, that I don't feel like paying for, before I even get to start modifying it.

Now, Brian, you know I can't do that... I won't do it anyway. Especially not with a couple big shows coming up. I wanna drive to NY for the Psycho's Northeast Regional, but that's a 7 hour drive each way. But that's the weekend before the Midwest Regional which is local and pays cash... Tough decision. The NY show has a ton of raffles though, which is what I'm really interested in...

Well today I powder coated my rims white well one of them doin one at a time. The other day I spray painted one of my wheel wells white just to test how long it would last. If it lasts ill pull the suspension and do it right. Oh and the rims look stupid sick in person

Thanks, and yea. But I have completely redone the kit, bigger wire in teh box, made modifications to the spray gun to make it more efficient and to spray at a different pattern, It's kinda difficult to do but one you get the hang of it it's a breeze.
