does a 99 engine fit in a 97?

I'm currently searching for a replacement engine for my '97 CL. Can a '99 f23 fit in a '97?

With all the technicalities involved with converting over to a DOHC, I think I'm gonna keep it simple.

Search around, there was a girl who swapped a f23 into a 97 and had all kinds of issues
