Good Mechanics in GTA?? Please help!! Lowering TL

Does anybody know any good mechanic in the GTA where I can get my 06 Acura TL lowered? I have a set Tein SS but don't know any good mechanics. The Acura dealership quoted $750 just to have the coilovers installed with wheel alignment. Any help would do.

Thanks!

You should try and see if there's a 3G owner around you that would help you out with it. I'm sure there's a DIY somewhere in your section that explains it, it should only take a couple hours and you'll learn more about your car too.

Edit: Here's a DIY: https://acurazine.com/forums/3g-tl-tires-wheels-suspension-97/%2A%2Adiy%2A%2A-tein-basic-coilover-install-%2A%2Apics%2A%2A-3g-garage-d-022-a-617782/

Check out B Line Mechanics in Mississauga. Very reasonably priced and awesome work. One of the owners has a TL and staff is very friendly. 9056969576. They know Hondas/Acuras like the back of their hand.

Book time to do this job is 2.2 hrs for the front and 2.7 for the rear, so just under 5 hours. The old shop I worked at would have done it for like $550 most likely with the alinement as well

You didn't say how much you were planning on lowering ... the lower you go the worse your camber comes out of spec ..... if your going low - get camber kits and save your tires. The good ones ( Ingalls / SPC) aren't cheap but then neither are good tires.

The alignment machine at Family Honda ( Brampton) ... I have never seen anything like it. Flat - no ramp, so you don't mash up your front end. That said alignment is only as good as the operator/mechanic. I think that was $110 when I did it a year ago.

B line

OK - I went here today.

Quite Surprized ... they were very nice guys. The price was decent and when I told them the car was lowered - it was all good. ( the guy at Acura actually sent me on my way when they noticed it was lowered). We talked about my alignment thruout the process and I was with my ride the whole time. It seems these guys actually get it - my ride has hours and hours of my time in it and trust is something your earn over time and not by virtue of a sign out front.

Glad I went - I will be going back. Go ahead and give a try - I doubt you will be dissapointed.

Anyone have any questions - feel free to pm me.

Another thumbs up for Anthony over at B Line Mechanics. A cool guy and his product knowledge on Honda's and Acura's is legit. Had a good conversation with him about my A/V setup with my Nav screen.

Great service at a good price!

Go to APH (Advance Power House) or SR (Select Right). Both garages do nextmod's cars, charge a fair price and know what they're doing. My car's been worked on by both of them and it's great.
