Hey guys im out in Toronto and now that i have my winter on i noticed a nasty drop in my mileage i get per full tank.

From March - sept i was avg about 430km per tank
Now the last couple fills from Nov-current about 310-330km per tank.

Anyone else notice this right off with the cold and new winter tires.

Another thing i did a mid muffler delete and got rid of my intake resonator all around the same time i swapped tires - could this a cause to the issue.

It's normal to have decreased gas mileage in the winter.
Nothing to worry about.

Drive careful and take it easy out there this season.

winter gas is the culprit. Those mods would if anything help mileage.

Winter gas is different as they put in all those additives to help your car in the winter, and less actual fuel. Also, if you're running winter tires that will also lower your fuel economy. As they are generally bulkier, with deeper tread which causes more rolling resistance, thus worse fuel economy.

i've actually never kept track. I didn't get to drive it that much this summer as i was finishing my basement in my spare time. I didn't even bring it out until like June. If i stayed out of boost it would be close to normal, but that's hard to do.

Im also in the GTA area, ever since I put on the winter tires my mpg dropped maybe idk..~30km.

I also noticed an increase in gas mileage when I switched from petro 94 to shell 91v power. I went from ~250miles with 94 petro to 290-300miles with 91v. Car feels alot better now, thats me tho :/

oh and i also did a mid muffler delete and res swap around the same time, i would say no..thats not whats causing it.
