It all depends on the set up you are looking for because both are good options. If you go with springs you will not be able to adjust the height whereas coilovers give you that option. For myself I went with the eibach pro kit because I just wanted a 1" drop which is suitable for the roads and as a daily driver. My old tsx I had the tein supersteets which were amazing and simply made driving feel stock but with the additional pro's coilovers give you with better handling and firmer ride.

So again, springs are non adjustable meaning you are stuck with the height it comes with and you will need to buy aftermarket struts or use your OEM ones till they leak. Other choice is coilovers which can be adjusted to multiple heights and firmness which is good to get an evenly matched front and rear look. Also if you plan on driving in winter then you have the choice to raise your car up.

Hope this helps..

Install!

Did you install your springs or did you get 360 Auto to do it. I called him up for a quote to install my Tein SS. Going to book an appointment soon.

Thanks

If you haven't bought them yet, I'd say go with BC Racing. More adjust-ability and they don't have the known problems as Tein's do. (aka strut leaking or failing completely) If you check out Mazda, Bmer, and Tib/Genesis forums, they're all switching over to BC Racing. I have them installed on my car and so does Eric (the other KBP owner with mods), and these shocks ride really well even on the hardest setting.

I recently had some Koni sport shocks and Eibach Prokit springs installed, very happy with the results.

Im dropped on Megans like lots of other Aziners, and I LOVE them. The install was a little trickier than I thought it would be, but the result was well worth the aggrivation!!

If you can afford it id say coilovers as it will give you the ability to dial in the drop perfectly.
Also the shocks and springs are engineered to work with each from the factory.

Tein SS!

Got these installed about a month ago no complaints. I have it set at eight all the way around which is the middle setting for firmness and rides softer than stock. I had eibach springs before with Tokico shocks on my previous car but was way too harsh I found. Hope this helps.

My Tein basics have 25,000 miles on them.... Stiff, little bouncy, yeah, but I'm happy

For me I have other things to worry about....

Really, well I guess I will have to see, like I said they are only a month old. I love the ride not harsh at all which is what I wanted. I had Eibach springs and Tokico shocks before and was a brutal ride so I guess it is a personal choice.

I had tein basics for a few years and they were fine. There are much better setups no doubt but nothing went wrong on them, aside from lots of squeaking...

he has a different car, therefore different springs and drop. Go on the eibach site and look. Most spring manufacturers have all the info you need on their website with pictures of your car. I believe the eibach springs are 2.1F 1.7R drop for your TL.
