good choice
I say let's take a drive to buffalo and grab some good tires for a cheaper price, well that's what I plan to do. there ok for a china made tire, suck in the rain tho. I find the treads too soft for my driving style. this happened to me at the end of last fall, tire was mayb used for 3 months

WTH! wow lol. hope you can patch that! that looks rough!
well I just went a week ago. so I'll probably go again next month so I don't raise any red flags lol, usually your saving about $200-$300 on a set of tires if bought in the USA. just slap them on ur whip up there and cruise back, check sites like tirerack for pricing. and yes I hope it can b patched up too.
wow how did that happen?
I got some type s rims recently and have triangle tires on them. Ill see how they handle once I put them on.
I also need to put on my aspec kit. Hoping for better weather next week!

Yeah, I'm waiting for better weather to put my front kit on too! Today was a nice day! hopefully thats a good sign!

driving and ran over it, heard a short hiss then bump..bump.. every time the tire rotated. good thug I was only 5 min from my crib
you can fit any tires that are meant for 17inch wheels really. Here's a thread specifically for the 255/40 R17 tire:

and drop it!! Now time to look for some tires! Im going to paint my oem rims black too!
save money! paint or Plasticdip them or w.e that stuff is lol
Hey guys! What you guys think of these tires? Any good??? the company? I could get them for 180 for all four sets! I'm planning to put them on stock oem rims!

Looks like a lot of camber wear, barely any tread left
EDIT: you can't expect good quality when you're paying $180 for 4 tires. Might as well buy mine lol

Looking for a good tire for a good price? Hard to find in Canada...
My suggestion is to go down to the states to get them, but I remember you saying going down to the states isn't an option.
Now there are indeed some good tires like Michelins or Continentals that show up on kijiji for a good price, but not around this time of year.
Just remember you do pay for what you get.
I know the TL is an old car, but put some GOOD tires on it. A car like a TL deserves good tires. You'll thank yourself. Tires are what makes the car contact the ground. Tires affect every aspect like braking, handling, etc.
Don't skimp out on tires.
A good set of budget tires are the Hankook V12s.
I bought my Continental DW 245/40/18 for $564 in the states from TireRack.
Got quoted here at Master Mechanic for the exact same tires and they wanted over $1400.
Keep checking out kijiji, though. Maybe you'll get lucky and find good tires for a good price.

So what you think, should i go for 245/45/17 for my stock oem rims or 235/45/17 like the stock tires?? what you think would look more sporty and I'm planning to lowering on coil overs in about a month or two..
It doesn't matter. Stock offset is +45 so you'll have tons of clearance with either 235s or 245s. Just comes down to personal preference whether you want a bit of beefiness with 245s.
In the winter I rock 235/45/17 - snows on the reg. 5star 06 oem rims.
But in summer I run type-s rims on - 245/40/17 - best tire size if you ask me. I tried the 255's and it just wasn't " right "
lol
As of right now from all the searching I've done and found best reviews are tein sports advance. I want some coil overs that i can drop about 1.5inches, that has good quality ride still and can have damping adjustment! Whats your opinion?
I run bcracing coils in the spring/summer. I can't complain, they go mad low and have 32 way dampening. bought them with my tax return doe last year. but if u don't wanna pay over a grand then go for teins. but I heard teins don't go as low as other brands. and I like there warranty , if ur shocks are malfunctioning they send u new cartridges, any u don't gotta worry about sending the old ones back. my 2cents
