i'll make this short and simple cuz i'm mad right now but i've been goin out with this girl for almost a week now.. the main way we talked was through text messaging cuz she worked and such but i can talk to her in person, online and through text messaging perfectly fine but when i'm on the phone with her my mind goes blank and i can't think of shit to say...what the fuck can i do? thanks o and i know she likes to talk on the phone.. she's down at college right now and i move in on sunday so i can't wait for that day cuz then i'll finally get to see her and hopefully this won't be a problem..

 

question.....how have you guys been dating a week if u can't talk to her in person? What do u guys do when you go out...just stare at each other? 2nd...why are you so mad right now? I think that you shouldn't worry so much what to talk about and relax...just be yourself, obviously she likes you.

 

no no...i can talk to her in person..i've been talkin to her for 3 months now...known her for years.. it just gets me mad cuz right when we get off the phone i think of all this stuff to talk about...just sucks..not really mad

 

Don't "think of stuff to talk about." Usually it's bad to have a plan because it sounds rehearsed and phony. Just go in there with nothing on your mind and let it flow. and dont try to think of new things to say after you hang up.

 

just ask her questions. girls never shut up and love talking about themselves

 

If you read a newspaper a day you will have something to talk about, or even watching the news, some current events, something you both might have in common. In a week you don't know everything about her, unless she is 3, so you can take the opportunity to get to know more about her. It will save a lot of time/trouble later on if you have to make plans, you might know what she likes.

If you're THAT stuck for ideas, write some questions down on a piece of paper. It's not like she's gonna know. But don't make it too obvious thatyou have a list. . . Oh yeah, about the questions, like VIPER said. . .make them somewhat about her. . .and what she is about and what she likes. . . cause GIRLS LOVEEEEE TALKING. . . ESPECIALLY TALKING ABOUT themselves and their day. . . yadda yadda yadda. . . . and also, it IS very HARD to cut the convo when you need to. So be SURE that you DO want what you're asking for!!!

Most girls I know don't know shit about current events. Kinda scary. I think that talking about the news would bore the hell out of them. Talk about her family or her life, they love that shit.
