ok...so i just recently broke up with my gf of roughly 2 years. i'm at the bar hangin' with my fellas...and a good friend of my ex's shows up and we start flirting and gettin close. is she off limits to me and who would be in the wrong if we hooked up?

 

It would depend on what terms you two are on. If you really hate each other, then who cares. The way my friends and I have always worked is that if one of us dates a guy he is automatically off limits unless there is a really strong connection and one friend okays it with the other. Its kind of like a code of honor between women....never date your friend's X unless the friend is okay with it. There are some X's (the ones I really cared about) that I would never be okay with a friend getting into a relationship with, but there are also some that they can take their chances with if they want.

 

Yeah, if you wanna get into this mess, you'd best have a chat with your friend. He may or may not be okay with it.

I think that answers your question. If you want to remain in a good light with your X then DON'T do it! If you don't care do what makes you happy. At the very least get her permission or something, or let her know what is going on. Nothing worse than having to find out from someone else...or running into that person while you are with her friend.

No one is off limits as long as no one but you and that person know about it. I'm sure you're ex's friend is a slut at heart, you can prob bone her. The only problem is keeping her mouth shut. If you're skull fucking her she shouldn't have a problem shutting up.
