Just wanna see a collective response of who dates outside their race. When I mean race, it can be from another country. For instance, I've dated women from St. Croix, Malaysia, Puerto Rico, etc. Or you can say their race: black, white, asian, mixed....whatever.

of course, there could be family conflicts due to culture

yeah, about a year ago, i dated a half greek/half jewish chick. she all mixed up in the head...beautiful, though.

I had a haitian girlfriend off/on for 5 years. now she had some drama.

Haven't ran into family problems with the girls I've dated.

I don't really care what color a girl is, as long as she is into me as much as I am into her.

I think interracial dating/couples are a lot more common these days, but you still get stares from people.

But I had a Vietnamese friend in residency whose parents would never permit her to date outside her race. That really annoyed me - they're not in Vietnam anymore

One of my co-workers (who's white) is marrying a black man. We were joking that we should hook our kids up to see what our grandkids would look like

 

I've dated someone who lived in Taiwan for 8yrs (0-8 of their life). I don't see there being a problem with dating outside my race, most the white women I meet are severely psychotic, I guess I've been going to the battered women's shelter too much. (:

I'd almost believe that people who live in more heavily populated areas are more likely to date outside their race simply due to the choices available as opposed to people who live in Wyoming or something, where there are very few non-white people.

I dated a half-Korean guy for almost four years. He was very non-Asian though, except for his looks. His mom is a first-gen Korean though, and she HATED ME. I mean, HHHAAAATTTEEEDDDD me. I could tell it was cultural differences, because she thought I was too much of a crazy women's libber (meaning that like, I felt we should BOTH go to college). The thing I never understood though, was why it was okay for HER to marry and procreate with a white man, but no white girl would be good enough for her 1/2 white son. Very odd.

Then again, he's dating a white girl now and he says his mom likes her, so maybe it was just me. haha

I've dated a few people outside my race. As long as I get along with people, it doesn't matter what race they are. My parents aren't a particularly big fan of this thinking though.

i am puerto rican and i have dated many white girls, 3 black girls, 2 asian girls, and one hispanic girl. i honestly do not like dating hispanic girls because they remind me of the women in my family....i dated a filipino girl and her family was very much like mine....even the languages had similar words..(spanish and tgolic-yea yea...i prob spelled it wrong)

I don't know these days...I haven't dated within my race for well over a year. Let me take that back...I did go out with black about a month ago.

Everytime I go out with my friends, I always end up talking to a brunette or blonde. Keep in mind, I mainly go out to bars with mostly white people in it. I wanna date a latina or women of asian decent.

HAHAHAHAHA you just reminded me of this putz that I went to high school with. He was a total dork until like, the 12th grade when he suddenly started working out and joined the football team, and suddenly he wanted everyone to call him Diesel.

Okay, okay, I called him that too. But just because it kinda became his name... I don't even remember his real name, to be honest. He was just a putz. I remember one day I was out in my driveway with my boyfriend, getting ready to drive to Louisiana for college; it was our "last goodbye", etc, and Diesel drives up, rolls down the window, pops his trunk, and yells, "BRAD! CHECK OUT ALL THE EMPTY BEER CANS IN MY TRUNK!!!" Any moron would have noticed that we were all emotional and shit. Not Mr. Diesel though.

I'd date outside my race, if the opportunnity arose, though I would not seek it, and at the smae time I do not seek out only white girls.

Good looking women are just that, race plays no role in attractiveness to me, though certainly, some races are more genetically predisposed towards the features that drive me crazy...
