I find most women never really have too many female friends anyways. Once they find theyre 3-4 'girlfriends' that what they stick to. I know alot of girls who are girly yet still have much more guys as friends then women, yes some are loose, most arent though. Most of the girls i know that do explain that its because guys don't bring drama to the table like a female does. I think the main reason for all of it is the drama thing.

This may kind of be bold to say

I know women mature faster, but when it comes to growing up, while men laugh at fart and drool over boobs, I feel that they handle real life situations better than women. Im not saying this is for all of the female population but a guy can go to a party and fight someone but thats that. the fight is over someone got their ass beat. end of story. Women tend to drag things out.

i know a bunch of girls like this too. one was really proud to let me know she only has 2 close female friends, rest are guys. she then proceeded to call me "dude" every other sentence, i gave up on her instantly lol.

the other girl had divorced parents and lives with her dad now. she is extremely! insecure about alot of things, and only has 2-3 close girlfriends, rest are guys. she seems to get alot of things given to her, hook ups etc with the guys, so that is probably why she keeps them all around.

both are a blast to hang out with, but are very messed up when dealing with a serious relationship. they require constant attention, and are always right...lol

good question though, always kind of wondered why they are like this.

Seems that often times both genders are like that. I know quite a few men that easily say they get along better with women than they do men. They can talk to them easier about intimate stuff... feelings, hopes, dreams....

It's interesting though. In other parts of the world that I've been to the men stick much more with the men and the women do with the women. It's the whole machisimo thing.

let me tell u something about the girls here in knoxville that hang with just the guys cuz girls are bitchy..... out of the 4 or 5 that do they have managed to be passed around by every guy they hang with. one who has been with about 15 or so of my friends..(not me i went out of the group to get a GF who doesnt know them). that being said.... whores....

I got really close to a girl like that. She was one of the realest, most down to earth people I have ever met. She didn't wear makeup often, rarely dressed up, and down to drink some beer anytime. We got really close, to the point I started to have feelings for her and didn't say anything. Then one day I realized she was boring, well meeting another girl helped .

My take on why she was like that was because she has two older siblings, a sister 6 years older and a brother 5 years older. The sister is an account manager for a large cosmetics company and a girly girl. The brother is a typical southern guy (big truck, motorcycles and beer). The sister moved out at a young age and the brother lived with her and her parents until recently. So she was able to hang out with her brother who was a typical guy and not her sister who was basically a diva.
