Ya, we kind of have that arrangement, but I'm not getting fooled. She'll get a couple DVDs if she doesn't get me anything and if she does get me something, she'll get a netbook. If I want to make her feel like shit, I may give her the netbook anyway. Or I may return it and keep the money.

I'm an asshole, I have a crappy relationship, and I hate Christmas. There's probably some connection between those, but I haven't taken the time to figure it out.

i got my girls present last night, she got me club seats at the TD Bank North Garden in boston for the Jay-Z concert in March

I took my girl to his BP3 tour a month back.. it was a good show. Unfortunately we didn't see Wale because his album dropped the same day so he had to cancel but if Wale & NERD are there you're definitely in for a great show.

 

yea i'm pretty stoked, young Jeezy i think is opening for him. i would rather have seen NERD. she did pretty good and i'm not easy to buy for at all.

So, this morning as she got up, the wife says that she wants me to give her something late tonight-- sorta like a "pearl necklace."

So this should be an interesting gift exchange that I'm looking forward to unwrap...

Not really. She got mad over something that really wasn't there and said it was over, expecting me to say, I'm sorry blah blah and I said ok. She called and called and called to say sorry but I'm not sure if I see myself marrying her anytime soon. No point in wasting even more time together if I don't see a future even if she does.

Yes, the timing was terrible with the holidays but what can you do. We exchanged small gifts but she is hoping I will come back to her and I can't say im in the same mindset.

Feeling sorry for some of you guys posting above with not-so-great relationships, though. The wife and I are 15 years married and going strong. Yeah we have our issues as everyone does but we work through them.
