Real quick guys, I know long distance is a no-no but I'm willing to give this a shot.

Long story short, a friend of mine had his wedding this weekend and I met his cousin, a real cute Cali girl who just came for the weekend. I hung out with her the last 2 days along with a bunch of friends. Basically, I really started to like this girl. Somehow we just felt really good together, just talking and enjoying the weekend with our friends. This made me think about maybe keeping in touch with her to see what could happen but she lives in Cali and I'm from Charlotte....so it's a long distance thing???

I'm kinda confused because I don't know if it's a good idea to keep in touch with her??? Maybe I'm just blinded by her at this very moment or some feelings might be getting in the way and it's making me want to pursue something with her. Is this something I should let go and forget it or am I going to miss out if I don't???

Oh here is the worst part...I'm at work and get out at 2:30pm, her flight to Cali leaves Charlotte at 4pm. I feel like speeding over to the airport right after work just to see her and say goodbye. Last night we didn't get a chance to really say goodbye to each other or even talk about us cuz of some issues with rides, friends, etc...

I have until 2:30pm to hear your advice and then it's either the airport or I go home

I don't think you need to go to the airport. Just call her or send her an e-mail... that is, if you actually got her contact info.

Personally, I'm not a big fan of LDR. They work sometimes, but in most cases, only when you initially got the chance to establish the relationship first and plan to eventually live in the same city again in the future.

 

go home, you can stay in touch via facebook etc...

Rushing to the airport in that situation just seems a bit weird, you did just meet her...

As far as trying something long distance, it's up to you, but it sucks. Could you deal with seeing her once every few months? Assuming you trust that she won't screw around behind your back or you won't screw around behind hers...

I've had a few LDR's and they were only good for a couple of months. It becomes very hard to bond with the girl when you can see her like twice a month.

I say head home, and keep in touch with her via phone or internet.

I think the reason you both may have connected is because deep down you both knew that there was no real future. She knew that she would be gone and so did you. So you both relaxed and didn't have all the pressures of a new connection.

Okay so she flew back home, everything is cool now. We had an awesome weekend and just forgot about everything, got caught up in the moment.

Oh well, time to call Laura for something to do tonight lol
