Weddings: good opportunities?

So I'm invited to my buddy's wedding this Saturday. Are weddings in general a good place of opportunity to pick up women?

How have you guys fared at events like this?

Very well, I went to my buddies wedding a few months ago, and the trick is to wait till all the emotional shit is over and everyone has had a few drinks. cause the single girls play off that and they start thinking all those bullshit lovey duvy ideas. Then they have a few drinks and start dancing, before you know it you're playing boom boom with the brides maid. This last one was 26 and I was 20, I think I told her I was 28 though...who cares.

AND...you'll find the girls who are depressed that they don't have "someone special in their life" :'(

Swoop in for the kill.

haha, I love the predatory attitude in here! The night before (during or after the rehearsal dinner) is a good time narrow down the list too.

Every wedding I've been to had all couples & the few singles that were there were either 60+, under 15, or looked busted.

I've always had bad luck at weddings. Primarily because all the girls bring their damn boyfriends. And if they are single, there is a reason why.

i tend to have bad luck at weddings too, except for the one where i was the groom. although, some might say that would be bad luck as well.

Haha, one of my buddies is always getting in trouble at weddings! one of the last ones we went too we got hammered at the reception (my wife couldn't make it) and some girl was hitting on him bad (rumor was she was a virgin too). Anyway, he wasn't blowing her off so I figured he would hook up so my other friend and I are like, "should we help him?" Meanwhile some of our other friends (including the father of the groom) were like oh he's getting some. So I go up to him and ask him if he's all set and he tells me, "get me outta here!" haha...anyway to make a long story short, he tells her he's going to the bathroom and then sneaks out the bathroom window and a bunch of us go to some bar...well she ends up finding us but at this point she had gotten the hint I think!

I don't know whats so hard to comprehend...I don't have time to write out the whole story so you get the yada, yada, yada...and then he jumped out a windo version.

just looking for a punch line...like chick was friend's half cousin and they ended up getting busy. or chick was groom's sister, and the family walked in on friend and said chick in the bathroom....something.

It is either feast or famine from my experience. You get some single chicks at a wedding and they start thinking about how they wish they had a man and a few drinks later you move in and play off their emotions. But sometimes you won't find any chicks there who are single or without a date, so you could be disappointed.

Weddings I have been too recently, the chicks are either:
"holy shit what happened to her face"
"woah there, no more buffet for you"
"oh, so, how far along are you"

Just came back, Sunday morning... felt like I just went to vegas! Great banquet, awesome food rivaling some of the most grand buffets. Texas Hold'em afterwards. Kickass time overall.
