He's just not a romantic kinda guy, and that's okay. But he's my best friend, we do everything together, from car shows to shoe shopping, I love the guy, I'm not going to just leave him. I told him a few years ago that I'd rather he gave me 1 rose/month than a dozen roses on VDay, and, of course, it didn't work, but I tried. I know there are tons of guys and I haven't been the greatest girlfriend because of that, but I know, when the going gets tough, he's the guy I want by my side. I see him pretty much every day, we are together almost every holiday and I always learn new things because of him. I've become more patient, calm, and mature because of him, so I'm not going to leave him because he hasn't necessarily caught up with me on the age thing. I get hit on by older guys all the time and I figure it's because I have my life fairly mapped out, and by the time guys seem to be 32, they have it all mapped out, too. But he does know I'm not going to wait around forever. He's coming to the meet but I will totally kick your ass if you tell him I said anything bad about him on here hahaha

Only been dating this girl for about a month but we like each other so I figured why not. I work nights on the weekend so sometime in the afternoon we'll hit up one of her favorite retail stores (where I know an employee that will hook me up) and I'll tell her she can pick out any 3 things. Then maybe grab a bite to eat.

Just got married 2 weeks ago, so our first V-day as husband/wife. I decided to treat to try an impress her by making dinner and dessert.
Fucked up the Apple Cobbler by over-cooking it
Fucked up the Ahi Tuna burgers by under-cooking them (she said 'the bread is tasty though')
During dinner, we watched 'Funny Games', which is the worst possible date move to watch

I surprised my gf with a dozen tulips in the morning. I was going to cook breakfast, but she wanted to go on a trip. So, we decided to take an impromptu trip up to the mountains to see snow (those who don't have it love it, lol). I took her out for lunch and dinner, then we spent the night at a vacation house my parents own up there. It was pretty fun.
