Don't fall for that. If she's a cool girl, she's saying that to appeal to the very obvious fact that everyone knows it's a bullshit holiday meant to artificially put girls on a pedestal.

It should be called National Put A Girl On A Pedestal Day.

SO, the key here is to not put her on a pedestal but still do something so she doesn't feel completely ignored. Obviously, only do this with a girl you think is cool. I don't know how well you know her though, otherwise it's best to do nothing and go MIA.
