Valentines day
Valentines day
ok. I dont celebrate valentines day with my fiance, we both believe it to be a hyped up commercial holiday.
However a friend of mine wants me to think up of a nice gift (but not too expensive) for her boyfriend. but since i dont really do the whole v-day thing.. can anyone give me some ideas i can pass along to her? thanks!

some stuff I wouldn't mind getting for valentines day:
chili pot
swords
wrought iron candle holder
mp3 player
omaha steaks
large potted plants
a pirhana in an aquarium
a carton of chewing gum

i've never experienced a Valentine's Day with someone. Hopefully this year will be different as I found someone recently. Coming across this thread and a friend of mine saying something about it, first thing I thought was a gift certificate to her favorite restaurant. That way, I can have the thought and a nice dinner for V-Day. $20-$30 wouldn't be bad for my situation because I've been going out with her since last Tuesday. If I were involved in a longer relationship and were older, I'd do $50 easily. Just my opinion.
mine:
Comptech Exhaust
Comptech Sways
Comptech Struts
Comptech Super Charger
Gas card...($100+)
Some Pink Shirts...
Clothes
Plasma TV
New Laptop (Power Book)
New Desktop (Mac G5)
Gift cards from: Sisley, Armani, A&F, Hollister, AE, Aeropostal, Bloomingdales
Carton of Milk Chocolate (for the cheap ppl)

why not just take the girl to the restaurant? bring her some flowers and take her out.
gift certificates make bad presents in my opinion.
