It's that time boys! Need advice
Yeah, I tend to give a pass on the snooping and trust issues at least for a while depending on their past. Some chicks have been seriously mind f**ked in the past. But wearing it is kind of weird or crazy. When I met mine she was crazy jealous and insecure. I was ripped at 230lbs and knew a lot of girls that were always calling. Now I'm overweight and the only girl in my phone besides her is my mother so she could care less about what I do now.

Did you go to Vegas in March?
Keep up with your daughter and school and I'm sure things will work out.
Mike
PS I think our rings cost $1000 total back in the day. Both got lost or stolen over the years. She now has a simple band (her request), I have nothing.
Good luck again to the OP.
So the time has come to propose. (I know...I know) Short story is we were high school sweethearts and our 7 year aniversey is on July 14th. I got the ring already and have a vacation booked for Myrtle beach for the week of July 15-20th. I planned on a sunset walk on the beach when we accidentally find a bottle with a message in it reading will you marry me? I guess my question is, is that a good plan? Just about all my buddies are single and give me the same P whipped, your dumb, same ass forever lines so I ask you guys. We also have a 4 year old daughter together and she's a year away from having her bachelors degree in nursing$$$ lol. Positive comments or how you popped the ? please.
I married my highschool sweetheart, we have a 6 year old daughter, and my wife is a registered nurse, bwaha.
Btw that's a very good way to propose. Just make sure to have a buddy stand guard. If you have time/money, you can do what my friend did. He had a sand castle built professionally (don't know if he paid or did it himself) and had his friends stood guard until he brought her there.
Update? I married my HS sweetheart and best friend when I knocked her up after 7.5 years of dating. My son is the most awesome person I have ever met, and our next one is on the way. My HS friends would have shit all over a proposal idea, but they were all douche bags that I haven't talked to in 3+ years.
I fixed it for you.

and his name shall be.. Jefford Whiskerson III

If you want to do something classy, come to Charleston, SC and hit a a fine restaurant, and then hit her with a ring blown through a stem of a wine glass. Have the waiter to bring it out, and she'll have to break the glass to get the ring.
But just remember love is grand; divorce is about $300 grand.

As a resident of South Carolina for all of my 27 years, I have to agree.
Charleston > Myrtle Beach
I take it you haven't read some of these advice threads around here.....
Seriously though, do what you feel is right. This is not the time for opinions or what your friends think. What matters is what she thinks, and what you think will create a moment that you'll look back on and smile. Remember what creates the impression isn't the beach or the bottle, it's the gesture that lets her know that you really get her. For my wife it was old school - just us on a park bench and I got on one knee and asked. I had friends that did very elaborate things. But whatever you decide, better to do something that's authentically her rather than compete with the clichés on You Tube.
Best of luck!
What I have found with my wife is that romance to her is simply making a plan. It doesn't have to be elaborate or over the top or anything that would make another girl jealous. If she knows that I took time to stop posting on AZine and made a plan for the two of us,

I actually forgot completely the other time I was engaged about 11 years ago. It was the island of Santorini in Greece near sunset in a very old Castle. This time was pretty mild in comparison. Hopefully that's the last of it.
