so me and this girl been datin for about 2 months or so..but before hand we knew eachother for a good 6 yrs....she jus recently moved to diff area couple months ago and started "chillin" wit some corny dude named angel now shes like was hes jus a friend blah blah and das that so im like aight cool...now its comin to a point where shes startin to ditch me to go chill wit him...so i let her kno and she got all mad tellin me im dramatic and nothing is happening between them so i just called it quits and broke up wit her...whole 6 yrs down the drain...did i overreact? am i jealous?

 

in all honesty, if she just said to you that i want to hang out with Angel instead of you, then you made the right choice. But if she was doing something else such as HW or studing or something innocent, then it was a bad choice (I still think of Ron Burgundy " Milk was a Bad choice"). ANyway what I think is that if she showed sings of less intrest in you and more intrest for angel in the BF/ hooking up sort of way, then you did make the right decision. She ditched you because the guy is much closer to her and probably she has some sort of physical attraction toward him. Breaking up with her and calling it quits is a bit of over-reacting. For all, she could simply just doing homework with him or something that's totally innocent. However, I don't know her at all so the decision is up for you to decide if she's gulity or not.......
I personally think you made the right choice.

 

Well it seems your original post is missing a little info to see the whole story. But from what you posted I think you pulled the triger. But in a nut shell she should have not go on the defensive if it was just HW or something to that effect. Im sure if you pulled the same thing she would get pissed.

I agree with the others, I wouldn't "ditch" my current man for another unless I liked him more.

If she truly likes you, she'd jump at the chance to see you especially since she's further away now and doen't get to more often. Sounds like she lost interest...NEXT.

U did the right thing. I would not let my lady around any guy if I am not around, simple as that. If my buds come over and I need to go to the grocery store to get some milk, I ask for them to either leave or come with me. However I am married and you just have to lay the rules down. Anyways my buds have no probs. If they come over and I am not there and wife answers, she tells them to come back or call to see where I am at.
