a culmination of hundreds of vectors and circumstances...sometimes it's meant to be, sometimes not....I have known couples that romeo and juliet got nuthin on....just wasn't meant to be....everybody is their own person....and only you can decide at what COST this love is going to exist...it's all about who is willing to give how much..(i'm talking about long-term here, anybody can be "in love" for 2 months to-....hell, 3 years later..) what matters is what happens when shit hits the fan...do you work together?....or do you blame each other? do you get wrapped up in "me, me, me" or "what are WE going to do?"...what do you do when of you loses a job, or somebody gets sick, or just plain going through a rough time....

it's an elusive mystery.....

I think there is a fine line between love and lust, many who think they are in love are in lust with each other. The crazy about each other, would happily spend there time in a dumpster, if only they were together thing. Always happy to see each other and be with each other, when first getting to know each other their heart rates increase, eyes widen.... you know lust.

Greg Brown, one of my favorite musicians has a line in one of his songs that sums it up for me love isn't a hug, love isn't a kiss, love is everday, doing this that this You can fall in lust with many woman, but that deep, profound, true love is hard to find. In my own words I would say you know you have it when: she knows your deepest darkest secret and you know hers and it doesn't change the way you feel about each other.

yea I was kinda only making a reference to the song when I asked the question initially... not talking about "true love" here... my main question is, if you miss a few opportunities to strike up a relationship, is there any hope?
