So I met someone about 6 weeks ago that I took a liking to. I didn't ask her out at first because we were in a situation where dating may not have been entirely appropriate. She is a customer of mine from Acura (she drives a TSX). I took an interest in her immediately. I knew that she was special the second I met her. I recently left Acura to take another opportunity, and decided to call her up last week. I basically was calling to let her know I was leaving the business and also to follow up on something she was having taken care of on her car. I wanted to ask her out, but I didn't for some odd reason.

I decided to call her again Saturday and ask her out. She loved the idea to get together. I told her it took a bit to work up the courage to call, and she was glad I did. Basically, we talked a bit over the last couple days and we decided to get together yesterday for lunch and then dinner. We had a great time.

We both knew that we had something special on our hands. We're basically jumping in head-first. I'm really excited about this woman. She's amazing. She works in a similar field (financial analyst) and we can actually have really great conversations. I can barely believe I've met someone like her. I'm so lucky. Wish us luck.

Not as much as I used to. I'm just home today. Pretty much from 8-5 M-F, I'm stuck at my desk where AZ isn't part of my day.

 

8-5 for an i-banker is not bad. Most people I know who are i-bankers work an average of 80 hours a week, so you've got it pretty good. Again, congrats, man
