I do get out there but I don't like to go drinking nor clubbing so I guess I'm not so lucky. I am pretty shy too when it comes to talking to girls. Relationships or fun is good! =D

I'm really picky though. I prefer an asian chick at least 5'5" with long straight hair who look decent. Yeah, it's pretty down to the list...I tried to be more open but I can't stand that a lot of asian girls are short.

I've tried that and I think it works for the night but the next day is like...what the hell happened?

Haha please call me Kevin...I feel old being called that. When I am with friends, I am such a party animal. I usually go bowling at Hudson on Saturdays. Lots of asian chicks there but the thing is that it is usually hard to meet girls. A lot of them are usually with guys. At the bar, it's hard to just walk up to a girl and talk to her because the guys and girls with her would be like what the heck.

Mainly the reason why I try is that the college I am in is a male dominated college. It's 80% male and 20% female.

Oh gee that really sucks...it was a really big change. I went from a 85% female high school to a 20% female college.

Actually, I do leave school once it's over because it sucks there. Nothing fun to do.

Lol, my philosophy is, you don't put in only one application when you're in need of a job. Get out there and put in as many applications as possible. You're sure to get at least one call back. I use this everytime I'm out looking for some girls. It works if you're looking for a one night stand or a good girl to take home to mom.

 

Kevin, you are still young so focus on your studies. There will be a lot of opportunities for you to meet other people especially once you graduate and you can easily expand your social circle. Just continue to do what you like to do during your free time and be friendly. As some people already pointed out, you'll find someone when you least expect it.

 

What do you enjoy doing? Forget about what you think you should be doing. I hated clubbing. IMO, it's way too expensive. As far as drinking, you can still hang out in places without drinking. Also, never met a single woman at a club.

Here's an idea....I joined a pool league. I met a ton of cool people, men and women. Dated a couple girls I met through leagues and met my wife through it. You do not have to be a good player to join. If for nothing else, it will get your out there.

Also check out http://www.zogsports.org if you're interested in sports. The teams are usually co-ed.

And if all that doesn't interest you and you don't want to hang out with titand19, then try a dating service.

Zog Sports was cool. I played indoor soccer through them. It's a really cool way to meet people. Not sure you'll meet a ton of Asian women, but it will at least get you out there.

IMO Asian women = Pool hall.

If you head into Manhattan, I can recommend a couple places to play, and also may be able to see if I can hook you up on a team. The only problem is your age. Since these are mostly bar leagues, you need to be 21. But, they never check ID to sign up.

Recently something happened to me that just leaves me breathless.

A couple of months ago, I was walking down the hallway of my work place and I saw this really cute asian chick I was interested in. I saw her go into the Equity across across from my office (Treasury). So I was thinking about her for the rest of the day. The week after I saw her again as I left the room and she was in the same elevator as me. I saw her look at me a few times and I think she's interested. Then after that she disappeared and I haven't seen her till yesterday when I went for lunch. I walked to the HSBC that was 3 blocks away from my work place to get money to buy food.
