Yea, I got a date tonight I haven't plan on doing anything real special. We going out more like friends. I told her we'll go out for drinks and dinner, i thought about playing pool or something after. Anybody got any ideas????

Location? Maybe there are specific things you can do where you live than other locations? (ie coast = go to beach)

If you're going as 'friends', you are taking this far too seriously. Your dinner & drinks / pool seem plenty on a Wednesday night. Maybe you can go bowling or to the arcades ... that's a very high school thing to do. OK OK OK ... maybe go to Dave & Buster's ... that's a grown-up place to go to do high school things since teens can't afford to go there.

 

The beach is about an hr away, but we do have a place call Jillians that is similar to Dave & Buster's. That sounds like an good idea

Jillians is cool. I've been to a couple. It gives you a lot of options and might allow you to have drinks, dinner and a little pool all in the same night. Maybe a little bowling as well.

By the way....from past experience if you're any good at pool and she's not, go with something else as an activity. I've been on dates where the girl said let's go shoot pool and it was not fun for either of us.

 

Dave and Buster or Jillian sounds like a fun place to go after dinner. A pool hall seems a bit more for the guys.

 

It depends on the pool hall and the woman. There are a couple in NYC that's pretty trendy. Like Slates.

 

I go to Slate at least a few times every month, decent place. There's a very similar place in Forest Hills on Austin Street, forgot what it's called but it's by 71 Ave, I frequent that one as well.
Teaching a girl how to play pool on a date (considering you know what you're doing) can be a rewarding experience.

 

I agree with ravi...most girls that don't know how to play pool, will agree very quickly to go, but get bored just as quickly after the first game or so. becomes a very socially awkward situation, 10x more so on a first date.

unless that's something she's into, then it's a whole different story.

Hold up there boss. I'll never say that girls can't play pool. I met my wife on a pool team. And spend a week in Vegas a couple years ago in awe of how some of them can play.

speaking of pool playing chicks i saw this video (wont post due to nsfw) of the lady who plays pool by holding the stick between her breasts there like tripple d's and shes actually pretty accurate connsidering but back to topic my wife always enjoyed it when i took her to the comedy club when were in fl it was inexpensive and we both usually ended up having a good time

 

That's talent. I think I saw that on HBO.
