My friends current girlfriend is being stalked by her ex-boyfriend. It is getting to the point where the cops are getting envolved(we are all 16) as this kid has shown up at her place of work and sat and waited in the parking lot, as well as trying to take her home when she was tipsy at a party. Recently he has started to go after her friends too. At this point his girfriend and her friends are starting to become scared. If it continues I suppose a restraining order will be taken out.

Anyway, I get the impression from my friend that his girfriend is really getting scared, and of course, he has opted that if this is to happen again, to take matters into his(our I guess, since I'm the "fast response back up") own hands.

My question for you guys is have any of you ever experienced something like this, and how did you hand it? How would you?

I would definitely get a restraining order. However, when I was your age, I always wanted to take things into my own hands instead of doing it the right/smart way.

Restraining order and make sure the girls are never alone or in a situation that would involve them being around him. Honestly, it wouldn't hurt to call his parents, and explain the situation and give them a heads up about everything.

 

His mother is on his case about it, dunno if it's working.

At 16, I don't know if a restraining order would really be effective... Unfortunately it might be ass kicking time...

It'll be the most crime Newton has seen in a long time.

 

I don't think the kid will care much about a restraining order to obey one.

 

kids can give a damn about a restraining order, just get you and a few of your boys and whoop his ass, just make sure that you dont get caught in the act

My friend was about to order her pepper spray but ran into some problem...

Again, she has his contact info, and he mine, so hes bothering her or her friends again we are going to pay him a visit. Someone mentioned "kidnapping" him and dropping him off in the middle of some part of one of the tsurrounding cities(probably china town, for no particular reason, maybe roxbury)

kick his ass seabass... the whole dropping them off in roxbury at night is a good idea and all, but it might be more trouble than what it's worth...

also i think you need a license for pepper spray/mace in MA

 

I believe that is the problem he ran into(though I know plenty of girls with it).

I'll keep you guys informed as this situation comes together/falls apart.

yeah i know a bunch of girls who have it too but they gotta be careful because they can be arrested for using it...

i would be surprised if you and a few of your friends cant just intimidate him...

for example if he is hangin around where the girl works, swing by when she is going to go home and give her a ride. If he tries to say anything tell him to back up...

To paint a rough picture, both my friend and I are pretty big(me, 5'11, 200 LBS) this is some tall skinny druggy I guess. The question is will he care if we intimidate him one time... will that be enough?

yeah, i saw you at the meet a few weeks back, yeah you should be able to intimidate him but he might think its a one time things from you guys, percistancy might be key... have your buddy pick his gf up from work for the next week or two if he can... maybe you can step in here and there if he is busy... this is assuming she doesnt get bugged out by the idea...

 

I'm probably seeing him tommorow to see whats going on. If it gets to that we will do it, but up until this point shes had co-workers getting her car for her. Its really sad. The idea is we get a call if hes anywhere near her, ever, and then its game over. I'd have no problem finding him and kicking his ass, but my friend wants to wait until we actually catch him out there.

if legality is a problem with the pepper spray, go to a hunting store and get "bear mace"...perfectly legal and hurts twice as bad.. (pepper spray is illegal here so that's what i had.)
get a restraining order. whether he obeys it or not isn't the question. it's just in case things escalate and she needs to build a court case against him later on. it will definitely help.
