ok guys, so ill fess up, the real reason im being her friend still is mainly because shes having some major health issues and does not know how to talk to people about it.

That's one of the stupidest things I've ever read, and I've read of lot of Water-S posts.

If she's really got failing kidneys, then she's eventually going to die without a transplant. The best candidates for donors are her family members, so she's wasting her time talking to you; she has to talk to her blood relatives about it and develop a plan for when the time comes.

A friend of my family's donated one of her kidneys to her father; it's been a very positive thing for him because he got to live longer, and it's made them much closer than they were before the transplant.
