downshift the marriage hinting

Okay I was talking with my shorty (Amy) which I honestly love her to death. but she claims(i wanna say bull crap) she wasn't hinting about marriage but I think she was.
She's completeing her 2nd year of her education degree. and she's pretty bright(she had like a 3.6 or 3.7 cum in high school and she has a 3.0 cum in a local pretty hard college).
but she the thing is lately she's been saying oh when we're off and married. Which if things continue a ways down the road I'll probably do it. She's a good girl and she can tear down a car engine like NOTHING(she rebuilt her mom's mini-van motor plus she did her own brake job on her car) she took it to her uncles bodyshop to use the lift and his tools but she pretty much did it on her own. Plus she runs autocross and she can ATLEAST run even with me if not run 1 or 2 seconds faster than I can(I know i can already hear the your g/f faster than you on the track jokes:pfawk: ) but she's also pretty. we've been going out for 7 months.
She'll be 20 in about a month and half I'm 22. just I don't want to disappoint her by saying I don't wanna marry yet because I don't feel she or I are ready yet but at the same time I want her to have hope. She had a rough life growing up(her dad had a nasty temper and she was never close to her dad and her mom was an alcoholic at one time she's now okay). She said she's dated other guys before me but I'm different I actually care and stuff like that.
The 5 biggest things I'm waiting on is:
#1. I wanna know In my heart yeah I'm sure after ex (Sherri)(which I'm sure you guys remember) I wanna know yeah I'm ready to go.
#2. Her parents. Yeah I could go ahead and go now but that would PISS THEM OFF. since we run together racing the race car that's a bad thing. (He provides the race car, fuel, transports the car basically all i gotta do is drive). and since I got a hell of deal going of running the hell out of someone's car and I don't have to pay to fix it why piss off the person who's fixing it.
#3. She's going on for her master's (she's in undergrade school now) I'd like for her to be totally done with schooling. which I know will be awhile. but 2 incomes is easier to live on than just mine.
#4. TOYS,TOYS,TOYS that would end it. If I get married soon that means I gotta get our own house and move out from mom and dads instead of getting a 00 or 01 Integra Type R as autocross car,a new TL, a new snowmobile, new 4-wheeler.
yeah you guys can make fun of me living with my parents but I'll have some WICKED toys:P :P
#5. Even though she's pretty bright there's things at 19 looking back I say "geez that wasn't bright to say" or "man I wish I didn't do that." I don't feel your mind "settles down" until 22 or 23 at the earliest. I think your mind thinks it's constantly drunk because yeah we all make mistakes but I look back at my high school days and I've talked to some of my friends about this they say the same thing. "GOD THAT WAS STUPID BUT IT WAS FUN " and marriage is something long-term and hopefulyl something taken seriously. I don't want her to wake up when she's 25 and say damn what was I thinking.

nothing wrong with living at home until your married.
I can have a sick car and sick toys then. Yeah I live with my parents but the car and toys are paid for. Plus my parents are so cool if they're out of town(like visiting my sister in Oregon) they're like if you wanna drive one of our cars go for it. only thing they ask is to fill it up once I'm done driving it. (it's either a 02 Tundra 4x4 or a 00 Odyesee or my Accord)(which in 2 or 3 years I'll be selling to get my Integra Type R and TL 6-speed ). My mom said if you don't wanna leave you don't have to. Right now because I'm finishing up school(i got about a year left) I got free rent but once i get out it will only be like 150 or 200 bucks a month.(with food ,telephone, internet, laundry service , utilities, basically everything). so i can't beat that deal

wait what was that noise? sounded like diarhea coming out of someones mouth.

dude you are ridiculously young, when this relationship ends, and beleive me, it will, you will be in an awful situation of being in your low-mid 20s and still living at home. chicks DO NOT dig guys that live at home...period. you need to get a place. you need to get an independant life, not sucking off mommy and daddys teets until you get married, thats just cheesy, and who cares about a TL or whatever cars or toys you say yer gonna have, that stuff dont mean shit when yer still a salty ass living at home. then when you realize all this, youll be stuck with a car you shouldve never bought, ATV's you never ride, etc, etc.

get a place kid, thats the best advice you are going to hear. that, and NEVER, at your age (or her age) assume that relationship is going to last forever.

22? What's the rush?

And don't you seem to be madly in love with a new girl every 7 or 8 months or so?

What's the over-under on when water-s will make a thread about dumping Amy because she did something stupid at a party or some shit like that? I say 5 months. Labor day to be exact. I'll put 20 bucks on the under.

You guys are too young... Don't rush it. Get out of your house... Live on your own for a while... If things work out in the future, consider it, but what's the big rush? You two have your whole lives ahead of you

you are right, 30 would be better.

I was really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really stupid for marrying at 22. I am single now, but I was really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really stupid for marrying in the first place so young.

yo you seriously have attachment issues

i agree with everyone, you need to get out on your own before and be able to take care of yourself 100% before you even bother having someone else to worry about

i cant belive you say that 18 is too young and 22 isn't?? wtf bullcrap is that, 4 years isn't that much, wait another 4 and i think youll be somehwat more mature.

you basically went out with one girl for 4 years or something, got engaged (which was crazy at that age) and went for the first girl off the rebound....think about that....

and if you dont marry her but you continue to date for another 5 years, youll be so much better off

I married my first at 22 years. I was as DUMB as you. It lasted a whole 3 years. One positive came out of that...my daughter.

Remarried at 35...still married.

I agree that sometimes something positive can happen out of a bad situation, I wouldn't trade my son for anything!!
He is the one that named my CLS the fast-daddy-car. The story involved myself, my then 5 year old son, my CL-S, "who let the dogs out" blasting on the stereo (his favorite song), and a kid w/ his girlfriend in a riced civic
