so its the 4th... me and my girl went out to eat with my parents. we came home and i knew she wanted to go see the fireworks tonight. i have been sick the past couple days and i ended up pukin when i got home from dinner. i laid down and wasnt feelin well. it was around 8:45pm. close to fireworks time. she asked if i wanted to go, i said babe im not feelin real well, i really dont wanna. she didnt get all upset but she just grabbed her purse and said she was leavin. i gave her a kiss and she left. i know she is disappointed but what can i do?? im sick and throwin up, wtf....

 

She can't be pissed. I'd loooove to see what a chick would do if you got pissed at her for not wanting to do something when she was sick.

You're sick and tossing your cookies and she's pissed because you can't share a social moment, even one that occurs just once a year? She should have been there with cold compresses on your forehead, murmering soothing things into your ear and making sure that your sickness wasn't getting worse.

I can understand that she was upset - she could have said she was upset, but that she was really concerned about you , then stayed with you. Sounds like an immature young twit to me. I'm with wstevens on this one..........she owes you a big apology bigtime for being a thoughtless, self-centered, egotistical, superficial young twit. And unless she has some other redeeming features, such as being great arm candy, I'd ditch her and find someone with a heart unless she shows up on your doorstep with a bit bouquet of flowers and your favorite magazines to read while you recover. Her behavior doesn't bode well for the future unless this woman is an immature 14 year old.....

Just my opinion here, but I would be mad at her!! My girlfriend loves to take care of me when I'm healthy...she is the best. When I'm sick she wouldn't leave my side, let alone let her selfishness come through by wanting to go to some fireworks, and leaving angrily. Not saying that your girlfriend is bad, but if I were you, I would make it known to her that YOU are angry at her actions, and that you have a right to be, and she doesnt. What would happen if she was sick, and you watched a ball game at your house so you wouldn't have to deal with puking, instead of her place. She would be mad. So I think you should be mad, and you should let her know it. Personally, I just wouldn't call her/talk to her, until she makes communication first, and then I would still act sour.
