I've been seeing this girl and today I told her I wanted to have a threesome. She got mad and was like "so you wanna share me?" I tried to play it off as if I'm trying to make excuse and then she didn't wanna talk to me. Before I could say it was a joke, she got off the phone. I tried texting her and she doesn't believe me. She seriously thinks that I wanna share her with someone

I know what you're talking about. I thought about that for a while, but I figured that I was trying to hold onto the beliefs that I had, not the actual person. We had been through shit for a while and I'm actually happier now than I had been at the end of our relationship. Life is just a lot easier and I don't have to go through this long distance BS anymore. If my ex is happy, that's fine, I don't care. I actually hope she's happy because I'm happy too and don't need her. Yeah, we had a great thing, but gotta keep moving. Plus, my counseling is going great too and I don't have to worry about a lot of things now that used to bother me before. I can just enjoy life a lot better! Just like some of you guys said, I should have thought about myself instead of how to get my ex back. Well I've been taking care of myself and I feel a lot better now than I would if I was trying to get back to something that probably wouldn't have worked out.

So, the ex is history. I learned a lot of things that will help me later on in life. Like they say, what doesn't kill you only makes you stronger.

uh huh, sure it was an april fool's joke. c'mon, you were serious and then it backfired. actually, it is a pretty funny april fools joke. one i'd never make, but one i enjoy watching other people make.

Just send her a dozen roses with a note that says that the roses are no joke.........if she has a job, have them delivered to her worksite, where all of her workers can admire them. Forces her to read the card, which if you phrase it right, will make sense to her and no one else....... Nothing is better than a dozen roses except for a dozen roses in front of your coworkers. Sentimental displays of public affection are always great...... A very public display of affection with a very private apology. ......

 

Thats not bad, but too played out. I would do what Ric said, but to be more random, I'd show up at her office and make it up to her in front of her coworkers.

Actually, I think she finally understood that it was a joke. But still a nice idea with the roses.

 

I have never known any woman get upset by being given flowers.........and it is a very gracious way to apologize, says you've really thought about it, which it is clear that you have... and that sort of apology is wonderful even if you have already "talked it out". As an alternative, I still go to a little antique/junk shop that my wife loves that sells "estate jewelry" to buy my wife some amusing trinkit when I screw up.
