My girlfriend is constantly calling me weird for being on this board and liking my car so much. Like she will come up and press buttons on the keyboard while I am typing or put her foot on my laptop because she thinks its dumb to like a car. She makes comments like, "I bet you guys have meets just to cover up your gay orgies you have later." Am I the only one that has this problem or does anyone elses girlfriend do this to them?

BTW should I smack her?

 

Happens to me all the time. Same with my friends. I think they're just jealous that I have a nicer car.

Anytime I get that crap from my gf, I go back and remind her of her own odd habits and that usually ends that conversation.

 

I am glad I have a board full of people just like me who also condone spousal abuse, I love you guys.

My ex used to think I was crazy for being in love with my car and this board. I got shit for it all the time.

 

my wife is amazed by the topics we talk about on here... I tell her something I heard and she's like "Did you hear that on the dam acura site?"

9 times out of 10... I did

 

I got made fun of the first couple times I mentioned it. Now I don't mention it.

 

I always feel like a nerd when I say something off the boards. I pretend a friend told me because I bring this site up way too much.

hahahaha my gf goes UFFFFFFF everytime i start talking about my car hahaha...but she understands that guys have their own passion and girls have theirs...

i tell her that i was searching some stuff on the acura website for my car and she goes "oh god" lol...but it's cute the way she reacts

she knows that i am a car fanatic and she knows how much i love my car but most of all, she's an understanding girl and that just rocks

EXACTLY what I was gonna say. In fact, I think she reads AZ every now and then just to see what we talk about.

omg yes. And I admitt it to. I am a nerd, car freak, Punk, D*ck head, A$$hole, wierd, mean, and allaround just not right in the head. And the ladies love me for it.
A matter of a fact I got all kinds of crap for playing video games like Fianl fantasy, Dynasty warriors, NCAA football, Halo etc.. Then I got her hooked on them all muhahahahahahaha. I made her a nerd by getting her to be one of the top poeple on FFXI, she always liked cars so that was easy, she loved my out there style, and I started making her buy her own hurley shirts and stuff. (stole my cloths like she was running around naked) And just plain made her evil and odd just like me.

 

I called a car sexy (the new g35 coupe that someone posted) and my g/f thought that was weird..that I could find a car sexy. Then she asked me if she was sexier than that car and I said they were both equally sexy..lol. D'oh! Shouldn't have said that...oh well.

She also finds it weird that I talk about cars on a website..but if she knew what we talk about she would get in on the action too..

 

I know my g/f reads this site sometimes...
