Oh, yeah - and on the age question.

The youger you are, the bigger deal an age difference seems to be. I remember between 18 and 21 a 2 year difference seemed like a big deal. What you'll find out as time goes on that 5 year difference won't matter much at all, especially if the maturity level is there.

Other than when you turn 30, 35 and 40 she's going to taunt you.

I'd say age isn't as big of a deal as what stage in life you are in. Like if you're a working professional with an 8-5 job and she's a college student out getting shitfaced 5 nights a week, it probably won't work beyond just a hookup thing. That's pretty much what happened to my friend and his 19 y.o. recently ex-gf.

 

I'm the working prof type and she is a college student. But she is a commuter, so she lives at home. So there is no real difference between school and a job, since she comes home at night and isn't in some dorm.

 

So the date went well. She is pretty cute and very mature. She's a volunteer firefighter, which kinda turns me on actually. We got along great and we might see eachother again. I even did a little smooth talking to a bouncer and got her into a bar after we went out for dinner. She was really impressed with that. lol

Seriously though, I'm 25, so I just told the guy she was my girlfriend and was 24 years old. We just went out to dinner and weren't expecting to come to the bar so she didn't have her license.

there were 2 girls i was dating a few months ago and i settled for the one who was 9 months younger than me than the girl 5 yrs younger than me. i don't know i may be kicking myself now, i think now i want the girl who is 5 yrs younger than me.

 

I'm still in serious talks with the girl that prompted this thread. We are getting along great. She is really sweet and not immature at all. I guess that she has two younger sisters and a younger brother made her mature a bit faster. She acts like a second mother to them.
