They thought I was a master bartendar but it was easy as making a Screwdriver! What they don't know won't hurt them.
How large are these kits? I need to serve about 50 people. Can I get it from the grocery store?

These are all fine, except that some of them have lots of ingredients and/or require some skill/experience for them to turn out right.
Mai-tai's
Screwdriver's
Bahama Mama's
Margarita's(my specialty)
Melon Balls
Sex on the Beach, I know this was already mentioned, just wanted to emphasize, since they go over VERY well with the ladies.
There are many others, but these are just a few that immediately came to mind.

www.webtender.com
www.barnonedrinks.com
There are many other good websites as well, if you don't have a good bartend's guide/recipe book. Also, some drinks have many varying recipes, just select which ones sound the best, or you already have the ingredients for. Frozen drinks take a little practice to get the right consistency. Always add ice first, then the remaining ingredients still it reaches the top of the ice, but before the ice begins to float.

If you have any specific questions, feel free to PM me, I bartended for a number of years, and have quite a bit of experience at making a variety of drinks.

Check your grocery store, that's where I got mine (Jewel Osco is the big chain store by me). The bottles are the size of those premade Margarita bottles so they can serve a lot of drinks. Get some marichino cherries and swizzle sticks as well.

Thanks dude.

We just moved into a new house so we have absolutely no ingredients right now. The simpler the recipe the better. I've been checking out webtender.com and they have a lot of good suggestions too.

Those flavored Smirnoff drinks. Or just buy the regular ones and add a shot of Chambourd.

Colorado bulldog, if she doesn't like coke, try a white russian and she doesn't like milk/half & half, try a black russian. If she wants a shot, you can't go wrong with a buttery nipple

Anything not too strong and fruity generally goes over well.

Fuzzy Navels are pretty popular.

If your hosting a party and want to keep it simple and have a shit load of drinks for girls
have light rum and maybe a flavorered rum(malibu or parrot's bay), vodka, a few flavored vodka's, white tequila, triple sec, gin, kahlua and blue curcao(its basically triple sec, but its BRIGHT ass blue and can make a clear drink something girls will love).

As for mixers, get club soda, tonic, diet and regular coke, orange juice, cranberry juice, milk, sour mix and margarita mix

With those few ingredients you can make a SHIT load of drinks, from shots like Mind Erasers(most girls like them because they look cool being layered and go down smooth) and kamakzie's to mixed drinks like long island iced tea, cape codder, screwdrivers, vodka tonic(don't be affraid to use flavored vodka with these), gin and tonic(add a little blue curcao in there and its a blue masseuse), black russian's, white russians, margarita's. Don't be affraid to create a few drinks, like orange flavored vodka mixed with cranberry juice and a splash of triple sec(basically a cosmo) but serve it on the rocks and go a little heavy with the cranberry juice, maybe throw a lime wedge on there to really impress them. From my experience neat looking drinks that have a lot of ingredients and are not strong are what girls like. Fruity and sweet usually works well for woman. Just use some common sense, don't mix things that don't go together and you can have fun making all sorts of new drinks that will be sure to please.

Also learn how to use bar tools, garnish can be the difference between a good night kiss and a good morning kiss and use a LOT of ice - its cheap, will keep the drinks cooler(less harsh for the ladies) and you'll use less liquor. I used to host a lot of parties and got GOOD at making mass quantity of drinks. If you get an order for 5 different drinks, make them all at once and poor them using a "cascading" technique for your guests it will be a party they will never forget.

If you are worried about your mixing skills stick to two ingredient drinks. Appletinis have always been a favorite of mine, and if you go for cosmos be sure to get Cointreau instead of Triple Sec. It will make a big difference.

Otherwise simple drinks like rum & coke, gin & tonics, screw drivers and madrases always go over well. You can't go wrong with the basic liquors and some mixers. My new favorite is Smirnoff Strawberry Twist Vodka and OJ.

This thread is making me thirsty

One thing I learned this weekend...

They key to a girl's heart is through her stomach. I made fresh baked chocolate chip cookies at the party, and they were a huge hit.

Thanks everyone for your help!
