Papa Johns Garlic Butter/Garlic Dipping Sauce

I havent had PJ's in many many many years, but I was always a fan of the garlic butter that would come with it. Recently I ordered a pie and expected the same thing but that was not the case. It seems they have switched to a garlic dipping sauce that is thick and white and tastes like a fake garlic alfredo sauce. Th other was in no way butter, but it was thin and yellowish and need to be mixed a little because there would be some separation. Anyone know anything about this and when or why it happened?

You have to heat it up. Its the same sauce. All it is, is butter and garlic. You must've gotten a cooled one. When that happens I stick it in the microwave for 10 seconds or so or if I'm warming my pizza I heat the oven to 225F and let the butter sit in there with the pizza

I was thinking that, but I remember in college that you could let it sit out for days and it would still be way more clear and almost separate. It just didnt seem to be the same. I will give it another try and heat it up next time. Thanks!

LOL No prob. You are right about that. I think they did something back then that just let it stay oily but now you can have it two ways LOL Let me know how it goes. I had Pjs last week

I think it is a little different than the old version, I remember the clear type too. I'm sure this stuff is cheaper also it doesn't get separated like the old version.

I love that stuff and no matter how cold or warm it got, it was always an oily separated mess. Sounds like they did change it
