Indoor grill?
Hey, you guys using any indoor grills? I have a foreman but I'm thinking of getting this:
It's a Sanyo HPS-SG3
I wanted to see if anyone had any experience with a similar product. I hate the fact that I can't grill in this stupid Winter.

I have used something similar, works well. Use a little liquid smoke, either brushed on food or put in some water in drip pan. If you do greasy items, make sure you put down al foil to prevent splatter.

I had one a few years ago... it was a real bitch to clean but worked well as long as I covered it with something to keep the heat in... otherwise it took too long to cook things.

My indoor grill is part of my cooktop.
4 burners and the center 12" is a grill
Viking 36" professional cooktop.
Combined with a 1500cfm roof mouted exhaust fan, this is a nice alternative on crappy rainy/cold days.
Looks like you are shooting for electric portable, but I thought I would share an alternative if you are replacing a cooktop.

We were given a Delonghi from as part of our housewarming gift from the builder (everyone got one)
I used it a few times, but really its just a pain in the ass. Nothing beats a real grill.

I know but it's on average 15 degrees outside at all times with wind and snow.... grills are out of the q right now - I miss good homemade shishkabobs and burgers though.

^ I actually moved into an apartment in July and have no balcony/yard. We do go to my buddy's and fire his grill up once in a while. He has a nice balcony. I can't wait to move....
A couple of years ago I grilled 20 pounds of shishkabobs in 10 degree weather.
