Cooks...what can I do w/ vine rip tomatoes, cilantro, garlic, etc...

I've got some vine ripe tomatoes chillin in my fridge from when I made some salsa. It didn't turn out very good so now I've got a handful left. Anybody know a good recipe I can make w/ the following ingredients:

- 4 vine ripe tomatoes
- whole garlic
- cilantro
- half of an avocado
- schallots

and I have extra virgin olive oil, salt, pepper...the essentials.

Well, a lot. To get you started...

You can hold the avocado and cilantro and toss the rest in some pasta after a quick saute. I would de-seed the tomatoes first.

You can get a couple more avocados and some chips and make some guacamole. De-seed tomatoes first.

You can hold the cilantro, cut the bottoms off the tomatoes and stuff with garlic and shallots and some cheese. Bake and you have a tasty side dish. Mash the avocado for a nice refreshing face masque while you watch some soap operas.

use tomatos, garlic and schallots along with fresh basil and angel hair pasta. boil pasta and then saute everything for about two minutes inlcuding pasta then add tomotoes-don't want them too mushy. coook for about another minute or two and top with fresh parmesian. EASY recipe girls love and is really good when you get it right. also, i'm a veggie person but this dish is also very good with shrimp and/or chicken

My wife can't either. She thinks it tastes like soap. I have another friend that thinks the same.

There is a well-known heritable trait that leads one to interpret the taste of cilantro (corriander) as horrible, or soap-like.

That was very thoughtful...

Smitty, you killed me with that one...really.

As far as the ingredients go...make some bruschetta(no avacado of course).

I love that crap...especially when the tomatoes & garlic marinate overnight before you make it. Slap in the broiler with some mozzarella or good provolone & tear that shiit up(cilantro & all!!!).

Damn, I haven't actually cooked anything in a while. I was all about cookin' for my girl, but since she moved out, I've lost all desire to cook. I've also lost a bunch of weight, too. I miss cooking...it was all sorts a fun.
