Breakfast Meetings

I'm preparing a breakfast platter for a big meeting in our office Monday morning. Wondering what types of foods you guys like to eat at breakfast meetings?

I'll have bagels, muffins, and the like. Probably some fruit, too. Is there anything else I could add to this? Anything you've had at a meeting in the past that made you super happy?

This meeting is kind of a big deal; it's really my first business meeting with outside clients, ever, and since I'm in the unique position of scheduling, planning, AND attending it, I'd like to make the things I can control ... well, controlled. Let me know!

Bagels and good lox always make me happy. And I knew you weren't a moderator from the beginning.

Because I'm really, really smart.

Maybe include croissants or a picking up a Yoplait fridge pack. What about drinks?

They aren't for me, they're for the boss... maybe I should make them poisonous.

The yoplait fridge packs idea is a really good one, actually... I will definitely do that. Thanks!

As for drinks, we'll have coffee, juice, water, soda, etc. Standard crap.

However I did get some beautiful mikasa double old fashioneds so the drinks will look spectacular even if they aren't that special.

Have a few tea bags for those who do not drink coffee.

If you are into really cooking, Great tortillas and a breakfast burrito. Scrambled egg with some chopped bacon, then wrap. Slice en on a bias for presentation on the tray. Easy and salsa as a comdiment.

Sorry for the late post, but maybe next time.

It's a business meeting first so don't go overboard on the food. Simple foods like

Bagels - cream cheese, butter, margerine
Danish
Muffins
Fresh Fruit

Coffee - decaf and regular
Tea - decaf and regular
Water

I ended up with fruit, danishes, and yogurt. The yoplait fridge packs were a big hit. But the receptionist temp didn't show up so I got kicked out of the meeting to answer phones.

Always a bridesmaid and never a bride. Maybe if this job doesn't pan out you've got a future in catering.
