Blair's 2AM hot sauce - Suggestions?

I just ordered a bottle of this stuff. Has anyone here tried it? What is the best way to use it? I'm just looking for some suggestions on how to use it. It's an extreme hot sauce (600,000-950,000 Scoville units) and I am just trying to figure out the best way to try it.

Thanks!!

I looked up one of the hottest sauces I've tried - the mad dog collectors edition - and it was 600,000 scoville units. I don't think I could take much more than that and I consider myself very tolerant of heat. I had zero feeling in my mouth for about half an hour and it was another hour or so before I could taste anything. I think I've posted about it before.

I'd seriously only try a pin prick amount if you want to give it a go.

Good luck.

Ya, my thoughts were to make a batch of chili and add just a drop or 2 into it. Everything I have read about these types of hot sauces says to start with very very small amounts. I'll let you know how it turns out. I have 3 other guys at work who are gonna try this too. That should be a fun day. I'll post up the results. Should be a fun day at work.

What a fucking moron. The food network had a hot sauce show a few years back where people tried a pin prick of "the source" and a few of the guys were on their asses. I wouldn't fuck around with that stuff at all.

Well it was a PITA getting the wax off the damn bottle. I am gonna try to make a batch of chili this weekend.

That kid in the video was a f'n moron. He deserved what he got. It was funny listening to his buddy tell him to eat crackers. What the hell are they supposed to do? He should have had a nice gallon of milk next to him. Dumbass...

^ - I'd be really tempted to try just a drop, or a fraction of a drop. Dip a needle (or non-sharp object of similar width) into the bottle and try a little. The heat is rather addicting.

Funny you should say that. I brought it into work yesterday and we did just that. Only one person was brought to tears. The rest of us (myself included) were actually a little disappointed with the heat. We were expecting it to burn the crap out of our mouths, but it really didn't. What happened was the heat spread through our mouths and then our throat as it mixed in with the saliva. It produced a good bit of heat, but it went away in about 5min. Granted, this was a very teeny tiny amount, but still we were expecting more from it. I'm still gonna try it in some chili this weekend and I'm definatly moving up to the 3AM and hotter sauces.

THat video was nuts. I mean, me and a few friends used to have Tabasco Chugging contests in High School, but man, I would never take a shot of that stuff.
