Anyone ever grill lobster tail?

I'm looking for a recipe, anyone got one?

Will also be having seared ribeye steak, and a Sam Smith Oatmeal stout.

I used to grill them (or boil them) Now I have found them to taste the best by baking them in the oven. Boiling them makes them to wet/slimy... Baking them is the shiznit...

I just grill them w/ a little bit of lemon and rub some garlic on them. Then make a good garlic butter sauce.

check out www.foodtv.com they always have great lobster recipes.

Lemon in a marinade for a few hours beforehand maybe, but the acid in lemon won't do shit in the 5 minutes on the grill.

I'll stick with ChrisKelly on this deal...baking(broiling) seems to come out awesome. Then...I'd do the lemon & garlic... Or, just saute with clarified butter, a bay leaf or two, a few elephant garlic cloves & some dry wine.

I ended up placing a large piece of thinly sliced lemon on the grill grate, then place the tail meat side down on the lemon. kept it like that for 3 mins, then layed down a piece of foil and placed the tail meat side up and drenched them with a butter sauce, then covered with another piece of foil.

Then placed them in a pan to keep warm while I seared some ribeye's.

everything turned out excellent.
