this game has so much hype.

If its turn based like Kotor...then forget it.....but if its more action like i thought i read, then i may have to rent it

I put it on ebay already.

I'm not into RPGs, so that didn't help either.
I was expecting it be more about fighting. There's fighting (real time, not turn based), but it's just what I was expecting.

 

Sounds good then. When is it out on for the PC?

 

Yeah, I was disappointed by KOTOR. Too much "levelling up" and resource managment. And it was SLOW.

 

i never even got to any actual gameplay.......thats how much i couldnt take it......
thank god i borrowed a friends copy and didnt buy it.

I can't stand RPG's.

In an unrelated note, I wish they would make a new version of RC Pro-Am.

 

I rented it and I like the whole premise. It's a good game IF you like the RPG. Graphics are wonderful -- story is really well thought out. The thing is ... you choose multiple characters as the lead. During the game, you have choice between choosing the open palm (aka light side) or the closed fist (aka dark side). I would say it's similar to Jedi Knight, if you had to make a comparison.

There's a lot of re-playability with mulitple players and mini-games throughout the game. Plus, you have to win via the light side and dark side. Took me 17 hrs going very hap-hazardly throughout the world. Still a lot of things for me to use and find. Guess I could cheat and go to the website or find a walkthrough on the 'net, but what would be the fun in that?

I would score it 9 / 10

 

i don't like it much. to me it seems like a more expanded version of fable. not impressed by the graphics.
