I finally got back into the Xbox 360 and was able to score a Kinect for "free" using Chase reward points. So I thought what the hell why not? Connected it up last night and played Kinect adventures and Fruit Ninja. I am SHOCKED at how well this thing works. Its a lot of fun! My buddy and I started playing and got a real kick out of the accessory. Now I want to get more games to get its full use. If you get a chance to try it out I definitely recommend it. TONS better than Wii or PS3 motion control since you don't have to hold anything.

 

i love my kinect... still hoping more companies hop on board and start making more interesting games..

i love adventures/sports etc. but i'd like some more variety.
im sure we'll see some very neat stuff in the future.

so far the coolest thing iv'e done was use it in Forza 4.

 

I had my doubts, but after playing with it for a few hours it is simply amazing. It has to be most innovative thing for games in the past 5 years. The voice recognition stuff is way cool too.

when my friends steps in its view it calls them by name.. .its pretty wild.

 

I got one for Christmas when it came out. At the time I received it I lived by myself and had a large living room. Since then I have moved and my current game room has no room to hop around in at all. It's a shame really, it's not getting any use because of space limitations.

 

i moved from an upstairs condo, to a townhouse apartment... needless to say the jumping around has multiplied by 50

sorry to revive an old thread but relates to kinect..

so I bought a used kinect from gamestop, and have been trying to calibrate it. But when I click the "dont have card" option it tells me to go to a website. Does the Kinect supposed to come with the calibration card?

ok just did a quick google and printed one out...freaking microsoft wants 99 cents for it.

 

Weird I used no card (that I remember)

 

i remember it comes with card (all the kinect games i own also come with the card) but i've never had to use it before.
