Best of 3 Maps: Chain Reaction, Sandstorm, Night Stalker

They have choice on Chain.

I would prefer SEALS on Sandstorm, thoughts?

If you havent noticed... I have begun asking for Night Stalker as our tie breaker map despite what GB assigns.

Some clans will agree some wont. This one did. So thats why it is our 3rd map. Read the notes

 

hmmm... Sandstorm is Butters Map, your gonna have to ask him... I am terrible at NIGHT maps and Chain reaction.

 

He'll be there.

I'm good at Sandstorm as SEAL. So is Jonesi.

Steve is better as a terrorist.

Other than that everyone else is well rounded.


Ted i would say is better as a Seal.

 

Then again... Steve might be better as a SEAL without RPG's

I don't know, Ted is good on any map where he can camp with his M3. I've seen him tear shit up on Sandstorm as a terrorist in the bomb room.

 

I suppose. But I don't think Sandstorm is as much as a camper map.

I always go for bomb plant on that map and Ted is not one i've had alot of trouble with. Unlike on DT/Enowapi


I really think he is stronger as a SEAL on that map.

 

I drew up a Tac Map for 6v6 Sandstorm as SEALs.


The concept is 2 teams of three.


I will show each teams advance seperately however they should occur simultaneously.


We could probably refine movements once inside the camp, but I think the outside movements should work pretty well factoring in a maximum of 2 rushers on each side.

But for 6v6 I wouldnt suspect any more than 3 rushers at any time on all sides.

I should be there if you guys need a person. Chain reaction as a terrorist I charge up to the roof with a m3. Thats pretty effective the first few rounds. Afterwards if I spawn on the right I just mine up the boxes/crates on the right.

Oh and as a seal I can stay up top with steve and cover him.

Yo soop, how do I know if someone is using my signal from the wireless router? How can I make sure that only the PS2 can use my router? I have a netgear router so I'd appreciate if you could help a brotha out. I am sick of this shit! I play with alomost no problems for two hours when suddenly bam, 9:15pm and I get kicked out 4 times over the next 45 minutes. Although apparently we are 2-0 without me there.

You can communicate with your router by going to attached devices.. Should be 1 unknown for your PS2 and then whateve rother CPU you have connected..

FYI, if your online playing Socom and you wife is online in another room on the CPU then that might be causing a problem.

highly doubt someone is using your wireless router... your neight bors are not that close to you...are they?

 

Thanks smitty...I'll check it when I get home tonight. I live in an apartment complex so theoritically I can have someone adjacent to the bedroom or below us. I just want to be sure because it seems I am fine for a few hours and then bam, the shit just crashes on me. It sure as hell is fine if I play at midnight. My wife wasn't on the PC when it crashed and she wasn't on the phone (I yelled from the living room asking her what the hell she was doing...then I saw her reading on the bed...oops!). Anyway, I'll see if not I might have to figure some shit out.

 

Feriz, you can set it up to only have contact with YOUR PC's and PS2... you need to block the rest.

Soopa, I figured this so when I get home I'll check. How do I set up my router so only the PC and PS2 can use that signal (sorry, I'm a computer noob).

ferizz... mac filtering.

get the mac address of both the PC and the PS2... easiest way to do that is to turn your PC and PS2 on (connect online with ps2)... look at the attached device list in your router...

it will tell you the mac addresses... then specify that only those two addresses are allowed to connect.
