well i have had this game long enough to do a fair assesment and i have to say good job rockstar for making an great game

graphics

here we go! I know this is a touchy subject but anyway. The graphics in this game are good noting spectacular the characters are a kinda bad in that they use the jointed pinky,ring,and middle and free index and thumb I mean come one what year is this? other than that I think everything looks fine and the game has a nice dark tone. i would like to add this game has the hi-def option for those with hidef tv/cables. me? i roll with a regular ass tv. OH I got a headshot on a guy that was close to me and OMG it was great! unlike most games i played where the head explods and you have just blood spray only 80% of the head blew up and some teeth was still there and the blood as it was flying everywher looked to have chunks of brain in it!

story

so far i dont know what is going on other than the main guy was in some sort of mind altering experiment and he excaped from a mental hos and now people want to kill him. and main guy has fucked up memory not exactly super original or edge of the seat gotta know whats going to happen but as it is a game of stealth/survival you only need so much plot.

music/sound
music is kinda lacking but makes it real you dont hear music playing while you creeping through a dark alleyway. but when you go into a stripclub or pornographic movie theater well lets just say you hear things you should be hearing. screams and impact sounds are great.

control

here we go the big section of any wii game! FLAWLESS!!!!! big cudos 2 a third party game company with thier first wii title i can only assume that they used nintendos new software they made to assist such companies with programming wii controls. I love to kill!!! and example a guy as on the phone snitching on me and i pressed the button to activave stealth kill mode and the guy grabbed the phone i was promted to motion both remote and chuck up and he reaches up an put the cord around the neck then a promt signaled to motion wiimote right and he wrapped the cored around the neck with in a right motion and then a promt for another right and another wrap then a promt of wiimote and chuck up and he pulled up on the guy the wiggle both chuck and mote to choke the shit out him! The only time i did something i didnt intend was when i was not sure on the motion i needed to make.

MISC
VERY smart AI wich is bad for me since i sux at stealth games they dont have set patterns like MGS twin snakes (the only one i played) where you can be the most stealth mofo in the world if you memorized when the enemy does.
once alerted they stay alerted till you kill them they alert others and call for help when you fight them. and they way you react to damage is very real. IE even at full health if some one clocks you good with a stick or something you can fall and your charcter will attemp to shield from futher damage by curling into fetal and covering head with arms. not just hop back up like most games.

THE BAD
for those who have been following the conception of this game know of the once AO rating and the forced cencoring while nothing was cut out of the game instead they darked/ blur some shit to a point of close to rediculos. the most annoying thing is that you cannot skip cut scenes wich is very bas as this game uses a check point save system and the checkpoints are BEFORE the cut scenes. gets very annoying in hard difficulty locations.

CLOSING
the main purpose of me buying this game was simply to support violent/ adult theme games on the wii. i am glad this is a game that is enjoyable.

I have this game for PS2...great game, but a little short. AO versions are available for every system, I believe, as long as it's modded. As for skipping the cut scenes, for PS2, you can just press the Start button...not sure if Wii has one or not, but if so, you might want to try it.

 

hrmm was thinking of "buying" this but heard about the censoring, I wonder how bad the censoring is.

 

I have the PSP version. When you perform a kill, you see nothing. Its all blurry and distorted.

i heard it wasn't that good. all hype. as for kills, i think you see it, but it kinda cuts to a blurry cutscene of you killing. kinda lame imo.
