Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2...


Mein gott, I love this series...

Demon's Souls - PS3; SO GOOD. But so hard. T_T
Street Fighter IV - PS3/PC; Maining Akuma, 2nd Rose. Got all serious in it, even bought the MadCatz TE stick a few months back.

Uncharted 2 PS3 Best game I've played this gen.

I've been reading reviews for Demon's Souls...the difficulty has been a much-talked about aspect. But, apparently, it's quite the gem of a game...


So, how hard is hard? Like Ninja Gaiden Sigma on Hard Mode sort of hard (sorry, that's all I have to compare it to)....?

Hm .. I vividly remember that Ninja Gaiden on Hard wasn't all that much of a hair-ripper-outer for me. Maybe I'm making stuff up, I'll have to dust it off and compare ..

As for Demon's Souls, the game is hard because it's so complex and involved the first time you play it, it's hard to have it all sink in. The bosses especially can be little bitches, I was playing a boss called the Tower Knight for 40 minutes and still died. You get restrictions on health as a phantom, and if you keep dying on a level, the game actually raises the difficulty on you. I've beaten intense bosses in one level, came back to a previous one, and died against the first two enemies there.

Simply put, the game is not for the impatient or pussies. It's the total opposite of Prince of Persia, where you don't ever. Fucking. Die. No matter what. Personally, I think all games should be like this difficulty wise.

Wow...that hard, huh? I agree that NG is not the hardest game out there (but, I had to use something recent in case you didn't know)...

On the sidetrack on hardest game, I'd have to give a vote to Contra: Shattered Soldier for the PS2 as stupid hard for recent memory...Otherwise, I'd have to go all the way back to the NES days: Battletoads.

I just picked up Batman Arkham Asylum on PS3. Awesome game so far.

^ that game is so awesome. I wish more games were that great because the thrill is so good throughout the game.

Giving COD4 a break and just cracked open Batman for the 360. I love it so far. Gotta finish it before COD:MW2

Besides, Ryu is a slightly better than Bruce. Ryu can do magic. And his colleagues have um...bouncy...stuff.

Loving Batman. Haven't played a good action/adventure in a while. good change of pace from all the FPS I've been playing.

I am about 42% on normal mode. I am definitely going to repeat it on Hard.

Just got my BRAND NEW copy of FFVIII in the mail I'm so glad to be playing one of these old games.

Level 14 of Portal. I'm running just a few years behind.

Debating whether I want to start HL2E2 since CoD MW2 and Left 4 Dead 2 are just around the corner.

finally got around to finishing uncharted 1.

thinking about going back and playing on a harder level.

once i got to chapter 19, it took me awhile to figure out how to beat those zombie/monsters. those fawkers freaked me out! i was NOT expecting that!

SUPER NINTENDO! seriously, keeping it old school brought it up out of the basement & played me some Super Mario World & Mario Kart!

They were a bitch! Especially when you had more than one to deal with at a time. Totally caught me off guard, too. The first time one appeared, I actually exclaimed "WTF??!?!!" They did a good job with providing the back story shortly thereafter. That game really did play like a movie, and I hear 2 is like that moreso.

yea. i didn't like it at first because i didn't like how a treasure hunting/puzzle/shooting game became a sci-fi game. but how they explained it made sense and tied into the story really well.

i do have it. but i wanted to finish #1 first.

after finishing up uncharted 1 a second time (on hard, this time instead of normal ) and completing my final season in fifa 09, i've moved on to batman AA and FIFA 10. also playing nba 2k10 with friends online.

I won't lie...I still have not broken open Uncharted 2.

But, to be fair, I'm trying not to play a game until I get back from Japan and Taiwan.

playing reach right now... got in some games with AZ guys last night.. pretty fun.

Knocked out Uncharted 2 at the beginning of the year and just finished Bayonetta. Back playing SR2 online with Soul Calibur IV as a fuck around game until SR3 comes out next year. Sucks that APB got killed and that there's no word on GTA V.
