VoodooPC ENVY U909 SLI Notebook

VoodooPC’s latest notebook is aimed at extreme gamers, with high-end specs that include dual nVidia GeForce Go 7800 GTX graphics processing units (GPUs) in SLI configuartion and an AMD Turion 64 processor. The bright 19-inch display is ideal for watching your favorite movies or playing games. Other features include a u:909 performance motherboard, 4-in-1 memory card reader, 8x dual-layer DVD burner, and an 8-channel audio system with subwoofer. It weighs in at nearly 16 pounds and will be released next month.

16 pounds yikes, And i thought the 17 inch powerbook was heafty, the word battleship comes to mind.
Really though, why not just build a pc at that point, I can't imagine that being much more convinient than bringing a box and a monitor to a lan part.

it's damn big and heavy, but it is definitely still more portable than a desktop.

I had a 16 pound Alienware laptop.. that thing had a 30 minute battery life and overheated constantly..
I wouldnt trust laptops that are pushed THAT far

i thought the idea of laptop was portability.....geez 19" screen, pretty soon they will have a 24" widescreen.....30" widescreen laptop.....kinda defeats the name "laptop"
