Came off the bornrich website. They don't like to discuss how many eight year olds died making such glorious products.

Than a car? Lies.

The full functioning dashboards, sure. But nothing else.

do you *really* think that sitting inside of the HOOD of a car with a custom fabricated seat (that looks more like something you'd see in one of those "luxury" movie theaters ) is any kind of "ultimate racing setup"? It's not. I would put this in the "novelty" category. It's something cute that will make people say "wow" and "ahhh" and "ohhh" and would probably look and work great in the basement of a multi-million dollar home for entertaining but its not really an optimal racing setup. First of all it must have a REAL SEAT, like one you would find in a race car, with vibration and g-force simulation, and that's what I would say is an ultimate racing setup. something like this:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-2ryZ...eature=related

that is just one example, I have seen many more over the years (even going back into the 90's) that I would rate higher - much higher - than this novelty. oh and if you want to do a car, that's fine and good, but then you should be sitting INSIDE the car, in the actual seat.

oh and that seat looks uncomfortable as FAWK!!!!!!! and the dude also says he designed it for multi-function, one being a movie theatre seat. the ultimate racing setup would be setup for only that, racing.

It has what looks like a cupholder. Automatic win.

I haven't seen any with a damn cupholder yet. It's very cool though. Very much the opposite of compact and convenient, but still cool.

you said "ultimate gaming (racing) setup". if that's in the same category as lazy-boys for you, I guess we have very different outlooks on that. and, that is OK.

If you want something in your house that you're afraid to show women, fine.

Why would I want to come home after a long day at work and sit in a racing seat that I need a hemorrhoid pillow for? If that's your thing, fine. I'd much prefer to sit in a very comfortable seat, and have a conversation piece.

That's why racing was in parentheses.

Cool gimmick. I think I've seen other sofas made out of cars.

I'd still prefer mine over that.

Nice, those were some awesome stock seats... even by today's standards.
