Uh hum a little help please.

I was installing NFS Carbon on my nephew's computer today and apparently it said the installation was successful. The problem now is that when you go back to the desktop and double click on the game icon...it loads up for a second, then the screen turns black(2-4s) then I'm back on the desktop again. I tried to look into forums to find an answer but no luck. I'll give it a shot here...

is the cd in?

usually PC games need the CD in, unless you have a crack

Yep CD in...do you mean reboot the whole system...Um I'll look into updating the drivers.

also look in EAs website. The movies Game had a similar glitch on many systems so they released a patch to fix the prob. also did you have to upgrade your directx? i imagine carbon would need 9.0c at least. In the case of my Video card it was DX9.0 compatible BUT you had to update the driver to actually run DX9
