Only thing to be careful of is the burnt pixel issue. Make sure when you get it and after you turn it on, that you look carefully from edge to edge.
If there's a pixel burnt, I'd return it and just buy another one instead of going through th hassels of an exchange (where they may play the 7 pixel-before-warranty bit).

2) it uses a Memory Stick Pro DUO, which is a smaller version of a regular Memory Stick. Sony makes adapters that allow it to be used in a regular memory stick slot.
3) yes - you hook up the PSP to your computer using a standard mini-USB connector cable. you click "USB mode" from within the PSP menu to activate it.
