I'm getting my 14-year-old son a PSP for his birthday next week and he loves racing games, (GTA, etc), and he also loves Acuras ever since I bought my TSX. Are there any games for PSP that have an Acura in them?

 

Gran Turismo does, but I think the PSP version got bumped back to July 2007.

I also think one of the Need for Speed games should have Acura's in it. I know Carbon does not (according to EA's website), but one of the others may...

Also try the Toca Series of racers. They are awesome and to me are an awesome substitue for Gran Turismo on the go. I remember seeing an integra type r in there.

 

^ I checked a few site (IGN and Gamespot)... I'm not seeing any Toca games for the PSP.

BTW, Theresa... Another great game is Test Drive Unlimited. It's not out until late Feb... and does not have any Acuras... but it is awessome. I have the XBOX360 version and could play it for hours on end.

 

I just saw a demo for Test Drive Unlimited at Walmart and was suprised as hell to see that it is on OAHU HAWAII!

Making me consider buying a 360!

Probably will just wait until the PC version comes out in Feb though...

 

Great, I'll look for that game as well when it comes out... I just bought him the PSP for 15th birthday, and from Ebay I got Vice City and Cabela's Big Game Hunter (he liked that game for his XBox), plus he'll get lots of $$$ and gift cards, so he can load up on the games. Thanks for all the suggestions guys, and if there are any other great games for PSP, let me know. He's mostly into racing, hunting, 4-wheeling, snowmobiling, and some X-games type (skateboard, BMX).

 

GTA for a 15 year old?

 

Trust me, he sees/hears much worse from his friends at school. I montior very closely what he watches and sees at home, and as long as he knows that stealing cars and running down people with them isn't acceptable in "real life", I'm sure he'll turn out to be a well-adjusted, productive member of society.

 

What is that, 9th or 10th grade? I was there just 5 years ago, and trust me, though 15 may seem young, it's really not that young at all. (At least when it comes to dirty words and killing people). He's fine.

 

Yes, he's a freshman this year, and from what I've seen/heard from some kids his age, he's certainly not going to be influenced by some bad language in a game.

[RANT]HA!! It's still scheduled to be releasded!! I gave up on GT for the PSP a long time ago. It was supposed to be available a few weeks after the US launch of the PSP and it's STILL not out!! I hate Polyphony for this!! They do this on every GT release make launch dates that they miss by a MINIMUM of at least a year and a half. I get my hopes only to have it pushed back a month and this cycle happens over and over and over again until they release it 2 years behind schedule. I mean the game is kick ass but don't say it'll be out in a month when you know it's not EVEN CLOSE to being ready to be released!!! Anyone else notice this?

Apparently there are Acuras (at least an RSX) in 'Juiced', that cheap $19.92 game at Wal-Mart.
