Hopefully it supports PD so it can charge faster.

I hope you're right. And I wished they included a damn cable. Had to buy a $7 "official" cable for the DS4's that I recently got because the cable I normally use didn't work for whatever reason.

 

the PS4 Pro i just bought included a cable for the controller.

But yea i bought a PS4 controller a few months ago to play COD Mobile and that didn't come with a cable

I didnt even come that little cheapo microphone

 

To add to what you guys are suggesting, damn they need to improve the battery life too. PS4 controllers need to be charged every 2-3 days, or even daily if you play a lot. Pretty annoying.

The most impressive was the Wii U pro controller, that thing lasted 80 hours on a single charge. No rumble, but it would last forever. Why can't companies get it right?

 

So, when do POs start for this puppy? I may as well PO this only to get an Amazon notice that it'll be delayed indefinitely (like FF7, FFS) because of COVID-19.

IIRC, didn't either the PS4 or the X1 have no stock issues initially, therefore pre-orders weren't going for a premium? Maybe I'm remembering wrong.

The PS4 was constrained at the very beginning.

I preordered it off amazon for $399, and then flipped it for $700.

Heard that PS5 will be very limited in initial stock...so price will be premium in first few months. Coming out around "holiday" 2020...so like late november early december this year?

Well, if I can be as pro as @Mizouse maybe I can flip it for some profit so I don't feel bad about buying a PS4 pro just a few mo before PS5 comes out......

well based off my Amazon account, i preordered the PS4 on 6/11/2013. It shipped out on 11/14/2013.

So maybe preorders will start at the same time this year?

Rumor has it quantity could be limited and pre-orders may be the only way to get one from the first batch if you want it at MSRP.
